FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Who plays for SLC?

SLC has guys who grew up in the Seattle area, and plenty of guys who grew up elsewhere and moved to Seattle. The majority of our team played at least some NCAA or MCLA ball, and we are typically looking for players who have some college experience. We do try to build a diverse group of people on the team, so just shoot us a note. If our roster is full and we can't find you a home on SLC, we will do our best to get you in touch with other teams in our league and find you a good spot. You can also check out our Facebook page for more info.

Can I play for SLC?

Maybe! Our roster is capped at 25 guys, and it's typically pretty full year to year. Generally the best time to try and get on board is during the Fall or Winter between seasons. SLC scrimmages UW and some other club teams during that time, so it's a good time to see if there is a fit. Drop us a line in the form below.

When does the season start?

The season typically runs from the first weekend of March through the first or second weekend of May. The games in May are usually the PNLA playoffs.

Where are games?

The majority of our games are played in Seattle on Sundays at the Queen Anne Bowl. We also will play a game or two at Green Lake park or Ballard High. In addition to Seattle games, we make at least one weekend trip to Portland. The trip is a double-header weekend where we play the two Portland teams. When we go to Portland we stay overnight and get all the guys together.

What is the commitment?

There are team dues to cover our expenses and 1 game per week (outside of the Portland trip). We also have drink ups that shouldn't be missed. We don't hold any practices.

What can you expect?

Whether you play for SLC or another team in our league, it's going to be fun.
